Alex has over 20 years’ experience in education, spanning teaching, SENCO, senior leadership, and research. With a strong track record in SEND and Inclusion, her expertise covers Belonging, Emotional and Child Development, Psychology, SEMH, Nurture, and communication.

Alex has a degree in Education from Oxford Brookes University and a Master’s in Inclusive Education, where her research explored SPLD intervention and Adapted Nurture.

Alex continues to use research to deepen understanding and has a passion for connecting neuroscience and research with classroom practice. Two examples from this year are an externally evaluated research pilot Emotional Me and extensive research into Belonging.
