Alice has studied, worked and volunteered within the field of wellbeing, mental health and suicide prevention for more than 18 years. Alice began with reading psychology at university alongside volunteering for the Samaritans as a listening volunteer and Beatbullying as a cybermentor providing support for young people. It was here that Alice’s passion for working within suicide prevention through a young people lens began. This led to working for PAPYRUS Prevention of Young Suicide on the helpline, HOPELineUK and managing and being a part of a nationwide training team delivering mental health and suicide prevention training.
Alice has also worked for organisations such as Mind, Mental Health Learning, Listening Ear and Every Life Matters providing emotional support, suicide bereavement support and training to equip others to support those around them.
