Andrew founded Severn Bridges Multi-Academy Trust in 2017, bringing together six large primary schools across Shrewsbury and Telford. Today, the trust serves more than 2,000 pupils, driven by a steadfast commitment to diversity, inclusion, and community. Under Andrew’s leadership, the MAT ensures that while each school retains its unique identity, they all benefit from a collaborative network dedicated to individual growth.

With 37 years of experience in primary education he has a wealth of knowledge on primary schools. He has served as a local leader of education (LLE) and currently chairs both the West Midlands RISE Community of Practice and the Shrewsbury primary heads group. These roles have deeply informed his philosophy: championing the needs of disadvantaged pupils and those with SEND to ensure every child receives a rewarding, holistic education.
