Atif Hussain is an educator and results-driven IT leader with over two decades of experience spanning teaching, technical support, operations analysis, and strategic IT management. He currently serves as Director of IT and Digital Strategy at an Independent school, where he develops and executes comprehensive technology strategies aligned with organisational objectives.

Atif's career began in the IT industry, supporting over 3,000 users at Trinity Mirror and delivering reseller projects at Virgin Net in collaboration with partners such as NTL, HP, Bush, and Peugeot.

Passionate about the intersection of education, technology and ethics, Atif brings a critical lens to AI adoption, championing human oversight, environmental responsibility, and the questioning of algorithmic bias in digital strategy. Having dyslexia has shaped his holistic, big-picture thinking and his commitment to continuous learning.

Atif is also a strong advocate for mindfulness in leadership and believes that fostering a healthy work-life balance is essential for sustainable innovation. His upcoming workshop, Ethics and AI Bias, reflects his dedication to responsible, people-centred technology practices.
