Chris is the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and Assistant Principal at East Leake Academy. 

In 2022, Chris was appointed Assistant Principal with responsibility for behaviour and attitudes, before moving into his current safeguarding-focused portfolio.

Prior to joining East Leake Academy, Chris worked at Nottingham College, where he gained valuable experience that supported his transition into the secondary phase. Chris is committed to inclusive practice, maintaining high expectations for student outcomes, and robust safeguarding systems that ensure all students are safe, supported, and able to succeed
