David leads the CDI team, focusing on strategy and policy, strategic stakeholder management, partner relationships and media engagement.

David joined the CDI in April 2021, bringing over a decade of experience in education from roles at City & Guilds and AQA, spanning both vocational and academic sectors. As Chief Executive, he leads the UK-wide professional body for the career development sector, overseeing member services and advocating for the profession with stakeholders and the wider public.
