Dr Christopher Mansell has been a dedicated educational professional since 1992, with over 25 years of senior leadership experience, including 17 years as a headteacher and seven years as chief executive officer of a large multi-academy trust. His doctorate was awarded in 2021 from the University of Nottingham and was based on his thesis on leadership in multi-academy trusts. Christopher has also received training in the USA from the Leverage Leadership Institute and was made a Platinum Fellow in 2022. In September 2024 he set up his own business, 'Mansell Education' supporting MAT and school leaders. Since April 2025 he has also been a DfE RISE Adviser based in the West Midlands region.
