Emma has more than 20 years’ experience working with learners with SEND and supporting professionals to develop inclusive practice across mainstream and specialist settings. She leads Silverwood Consultancy, working with schools, trusts and organisations to strengthen inclusive approaches, develop relationship-centred cultures, and ensure all learners can belong and achieve their best outcomes.

As a senior leader in Silverwood School, one of England’s largest specialist schools, Emma also leads on values, vision and culture. She began her career as an English teacher and has held a range of roles including specialist teacher and SENDCo. She shares practical, evidence-informed guidance that equips professionals to transform learning cultures and unlock the potential of all learners.
