Georgina is an innovative educator with a personal philosophy about the importance of putting food and sustainability within the heart of the curriculum and school experience.

As Deputy Head at Greenside Primary School, she set up an in-house kitchen that redefined the concept of school lunch by giving it a whole school approach. The kitchen was developed as an integrated learning space with all students taking an active role preparing and serving lunch as well as being a place where food is used to ignite learning across the curriculum. She developed the school's garden space into a learning space, growing a regenerative wheat field focused on improving soil health, and a school micro bakery where all students make bread which is shared with the local community.  

In her current role at The Elliot Foundation, she has developed the whole school approach concept further through the Green Curriculum framework that is being applied across all the schools in the MAT. This facilitates schools to put learning about food and the environment at the heart of their curriculum experience.
