Hayley has worked as an Employment Solicitor in both the private and public sector for over 12 years.  Hayley trained and qualified in a large Essex based firm before moving back to her Kentish roots in 2014, becoming part of the in-house Employment Law Team within Kent County Council.  From there Hayley moved with the transition to Invicta Law until she took the opportunity to return to private practice in 2021.  Having worked alongside the HR Connect Advisory Team (formally Schools Personnel Service) and their clients for a number of years, Hayley welcomed the chance to lead the legal division within HR Connect and to take on the role of Senior Legal Advisor at Legal Connect in 2022.

Hayley has a wealth of knowledge and experience in advising and supporting a range of public sector organisations, including all maintained, free and independent schools, academies and Multi Academy Trusts with all their employment needs, both contentious and non-contentious.

In addition, Hayley’s experience of working in the private sector, acting for a range of employers and industry sectors and individuals allows her to be astute as to parties’ positions, intentions and to have that important commercial insight.

Hayley prides herself in supporting and guiding her clients through any employment process they may be facing and achieving successful solutions in her client’s best interests.

Hayley is also a keen trainer, and works independently, or in tandem with the HR Connect Advisory Team, in offering bespoke training packages for all our clients’ needs, recently this has included the publication of an Employment Rights Act 2025 Implementation and Training Service.
