Helen is the Trust Lead for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and English as an Additional Language (EAL) at Fairfax Multi-Academy Trust (FMAT), which comprises three secondary schools and one all-through school in the West Midlands. With over 30 years of experience in education, Helen has consistently championed inclusion, wellbeing, personal development, and academic achievement across diverse school settings.

Her dedication to supporting all learners was formally recognised at the 2025 Education Awards, where she received the accolade for Outstanding Support for Students, highlighting her impactful work in promoting inclusive practices and prioritising mental health and wellbeing.

Helen is deeply passionate about ensuring that every student’s needs are met, and she continues to lead initiatives that foster equitable and supportive learning environments for all.
