With more than 24 years’ experience of working within primary education as a teacher and senior leader, Karen has a wealth of experience in leading Inclusion and SEND in the South London area and has been recognised as an excellent SEND practitioner. At STEP Academy Trust, Karen works within the Central Inclusion Team in the role of Trust SEND Lead, working with academies and supporting outside agencies in the South London and East Sussex areas. She advises and supports SENDCos and Senior Leadership Teams to secure effective provision for children in mainstream settings, leading to improved outcomes for pupils with SEND.
