Lesley is a senior education leader with extensive experience shaping national careers education policy and practice. Currently head of education at the Careers & Enterprise Company she has led on led on large-scale national initiatives focused on improving outcomes for young people. Lesley has particular expertise in stakeholder engagement and system wide improvement working closely with government and sector organisations. Lesley spent 12 months on secondment at the Gatsby Foundation, working with Sir John Holman on the scoping of the review of the Gatsby Benchmarks. Lesley’s background is in teaching and was previously assistant headteacher at an inner-city London secondary school.
