Lisa Henshall is Strategic Inclusion Lead for St Bart’s Multi-Academy Trust, where she leads SEND and inclusion strategy across 23 schools.

With extensive experience in SEND and school improvement, Lisa works alongside school leaders, local authorities, health professionals and wider partners to develop inclusive systems that improve outcomes for children and young people with additional needs. Her work spans trust-wide inclusion strategy, SEND quality assurance, leadership development and the establishment of specialist resource bases within mainstream schools.

Lisa has led a number of trust-wide initiatives designed to strengthen inclusion and build capacity across schools. She is passionate about creating environments where all children and young people feel a sense of belonging and are able to thrive.

Increasingly contributing to regional and national conversations around inclusion, specialist provision and reducing barriers to learning, Lisa is committed to ensuring that inclusion remains at the heart of educational leadership and school improvement.
