Satveer has dedicated a career to reducing mental health stigma with a specific focus upon self-harm awareness.
Starting as a national steering group member with the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2006, Satveer shared personal experiences to help implement guidelines and improve responses to self-harm. Graduating with First Class Honours in Psychology in 2012, Satveer's dissertation on self-harm and cultural influences earned the Bernice McAuley Memorial Prize. For more than a decade, Satveer has built a successful training organisation delivering CPD-accredited self-harm awareness courses to approximately 25,000 people in 2024 alone.
Satveer’s training is highly regarded for its practical, accessible approach and lasting impact. Her programs empower participants with a deeper understanding of self-harm and provide the skills to offer empathetic, effective support—creating safer spaces and reducing stigma in both individuals and organisations across the UK and beyond.
